تتناول هذه المحاضرة شرح تفصيلى لكيفية تحسين كفاءة دورة رانكن (Improving Rankine Cycle Efficiency)  عن طريق استخدام اكثر من مبادل حرارى لتسخين مياة التغذية سواء من النوع المفتوح (Open Feed Water Heater) او من النوع المغلق (Closed Feed Water Heater) بالاضافة الى عمل اعادة تسخين للبخار(Reheat) بين مرحلتى High Pressure Turbine and Low Pressure Turbine. يتم دراسة عدة حالات مثل:

Two OFWH

One OFWH and Single Stage Reheat

One OFWH and One CFWH Pumped Forward

Two CFWH Cascaded Backward
